Narrative:

Became distracted by bright sun and sneezing in the landing phase of flight. Did not lower gear before landing. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: the written report was of few words and the callback didn't expand much on the written report. Reporter pilot didn't want to talk about it much. Just that he was distracted by the sun and sneezing and forgot to put down the landing gear. It was a T28, had damage to the propeller, engine and belly and was investigated by the kansas city FSDO who labeled it an incident. Reporter says he had a 'momentary brain fade.'

Title: GEAR UP LNDG IN A T28. PLT SAYS SUN AND SNEEZING DISTRACTED HIM AND FORGOT THE GEAR.

Narrative: BECAME DISTRACTED BY BRIGHT SUN AND SNEEZING IN THE LNDG PHASE OF FLT. DID NOT LOWER GEAR BEFORE LNDG. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: THE WRITTEN RPT WAS OF FEW WORDS AND THE CALLBACK DIDN'T EXPAND MUCH ON THE WRITTEN RPT. RPTR PLT DIDN'T WANT TO TALK ABOUT IT MUCH. JUST THAT HE WAS DISTRACTED BY THE SUN AND SNEEZING AND FORGOT TO PUT DOWN THE LNDG GEAR. IT WAS A T28, HAD DAMAGE TO THE PROP, ENG AND BELLY AND WAS INVESTIGATED BY THE KANSAS CITY FSDO WHO LABELED IT AN INCIDENT. RPTR SAYS HE HAD A 'MOMENTARY BRAIN FADE.'
