Narrative:

Former partner in aircraft. Current pilot but hadn't flown this aircraft for several yrs. He flew plane from left seat. Had agreement before takeoff. I was PIC but would not touch controls unless necessary. I was in copilot's seat. While in descent to landing at racine, plane reached 700-800 ft AGL before I picked up on it and had him climb. We were still several mi from the airport and the question is whether the area below was 'sparsely populated.'
