Narrative:

Clearance to climb to 4000 ft. Climbed to 4800 ft. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: pilot states that he normally flies solo, but on this particular flight, he had a more experienced pilot with him. The division of tasks was not what it should be, and there were no altitude callouts. Aircraft departed biv in blowing snow. Controller intervened when reporter's assigned altitude was overshot. Reporter was very busy and did not notice the deviation until he received the call.

Narrative: CLRNC TO CLB TO 4000 FT. CLBED TO 4800 FT. CALLBACK CONVERSATION WITH RPTR REVEALED THE FOLLOWING INFO: PLT STATES THAT HE NORMALLY FLIES SOLO, BUT ON THIS PARTICULAR FLT, HE HAD A MORE EXPERIENCED PLT WITH HIM. THE DIVISION OF TASKS WAS NOT WHAT IT SHOULD BE, AND THERE WERE NO ALT CALLOUTS. ACFT DEPARTED BIV IN BLOWING SNOW. CTLR INTERVENED WHEN RPTR'S ASSIGNED ALT WAS OVERSHOT. RPTR WAS VERY BUSY AND DID NOT NOTICE THE DEV UNTIL HE RECEIVED THE CALL.
