Narrative:

Single engine approach/landing at mdt (harrisburg, PA, international) due to the following circumstances: upon level off and transition to cruise flight at FL190, our left engine oil pressure became abnormal. Indications were at first fluctuations, but mainly dropping in temperature. Our flight attendant was called to observe visually the left engine, no unusual signs noted. Shortly thereafter, cockpit crew was alerted by a red caption on the master warning panel. Proper emergency procedures were employed and engine shut down, securing accomplished with reference to written checklists and challenge, response procedures. All actions followed company far aircraft bae 4100 emergency sops! No further warnings were observed in the cockpit. Current ATC facility (ny ARTCC) was then notified as to our status and priority handling was requested. Emergency descent was initiated and crash fire rescue equipment personnel equipment was requested at our landing airport (mdt). Destination WX was IFR (700 ft overcast and 4 mi with fog) at mdt. Single engine approach/landing was performed satisfactorily, within approximately 20 mins at onset of the mechanical malfunction. We were met by the crash fire rescue equipment team upon landing, who verified no potential hazards existed, we then proceeded to remote ramp location where station agents met aircraft and accommodated passenger. No injuries were noted or damage to aircraft.
