Narrative:
On descent into 49J while troubleshooting a battery overheat problem my second-in-command leveled off at 8500 ft after being cleared to 9000 ft by beaufort approach. We climbed back to 9000 ft and fixed our mechanical problem.

Narrative: ON DSCNT INTO 49J WHILE TROUBLESHOOTING A BATTERY OVERHEAT PROB MY SECOND-IN-COMMAND LEVELED OFF AT 8500 FT AFTER BEING CLRED TO 9000 FT BY BEAUFORT APCH. WE CLBED BACK TO 9000 FT AND FIXED OUR MECHANICAL PROB.
