Narrative:
On takeoff at slc, #1 engine was slow to accelerate (on EPR gauge), takeoff aborted about 30 KTS. Operating manual/abnormals checked, maintenance was called and logbook checked. Some previous history of #1 EPR gauge problems was noted. Second static run-up was normal and takeoff was accomplished with no further problems.
