Narrative:

On preflight, pilot discovered per status sheet, that aircraft was approximately 23 hours past 150 hour inspection. Logbook check proved status sheet was correct. I grounded aircraft till aircraft engine 150 hour inspection is completed. To correct problem, we are going to set up a triple check on aircraft status: check status sheet of aircraft on every preflight by pilot, daily check of flight logs to status sheet by chief pilot, daily check of aircraft status by director of operations.
