Narrative:

Sep/xx/95 I loaned mr X a carburetor for his PA-18 super cub, so that he could ferry the plane to fairbanks to get his carburetor overhauled. I instructed him to immediately remove my carburetor on arrival in fairbanks and return to me, or to send me a new carburetor. On oct/xx/95 I received a phone call that mr X had made a forced landing in subject aircraft. No damage to aircraft or personal injuries were sustained. The carburetor was taken to the FAA where it was determined (??) that there was an airworthiness directive on it that had not been accomplished. I was in no way involved in the incident except for loaning him the carburetor to get his plane from the north slope to fairbanks.
