Narrative:

Contributing factors: maintenance delay following continued late night flying (4 night pairings, with only 2 day breaks). Company had us continue flying pairing even though 4 hours late due to insufficient staffing by company. Result: captain and I both too tired to continue flight, stopped one leg short at las (instead of continuing 3 hour trip to iah). Talked with fleet manager next day, company quoted '14 hour rule.' we would have been at 13 hour plus 30 mins at iah. Company not responsive to how tired we felt.
