Narrative:

I started taxiing to runway 15 at btv. After approximately 400 ft of taxiing, I called ground control to verify runway 15. Ground control said I haven't called him yet, so I said I did call him initially and asked to clear me to taxi to runway 15. He did. No problems occurred anywhere as a result.

Narrative: I STARTED TAXIING TO RWY 15 AT BTV. AFTER APPROX 400 FT OF TAXIING, I CALLED GND CTL TO VERIFY RWY 15. GND CTL SAID I HAVEN'T CALLED HIM YET, SO I SAID I DID CALL HIM INITIALLY AND ASKED TO CLR ME TO TAXI TO RWY 15. HE DID. NO PROBS OCCURRED ANYWHERE AS A RESULT.
