Narrative:

Left dillon, mt, on a trip to jackpot, nv. Upon arriving there, the airport runway was crossed out, due to mon thru fri runway work. I saw no construction work at that time and the runway was usable so I landed. Sunday I was notified that I was in violation and the FAA would be notified. Since there was no construction work on the weekend and runway surface was intact, I feel a violation is uncalled for.

Narrative: LEFT DILLON, MT, ON A TRIP TO JACKPOT, NV. UPON ARRIVING THERE, THE ARPT RWY WAS CROSSED OUT, DUE TO MON THRU FRI RWY WORK. I SAW NO CONSTRUCTION WORK AT THAT TIME AND THE RWY WAS USABLE SO I LANDED. SUNDAY I WAS NOTIFIED THAT I WAS IN VIOLATION AND THE FAA WOULD BE NOTIFIED. SINCE THERE WAS NO CONSTRUCTION WORK ON THE WEEKEND AND RWY SURFACE WAS INTACT, I FEEL A VIOLATION IS UNCALLED FOR.
