Narrative:
Ftw approach cleared us from 11000 ft to 6000 ft. I read back clearance. Then we started our descent. Next approach said to maintain 11000 ft and that our previous clearance was for another flight. No traffic conflict existed. I thought I would go ahead and submit an ASRS report to be safe.
