Narrative:
About 1/2 hour after departure from jfk for sju, we got a partial failure of #2 AC bus with multiple equipment failures. Contacted dispatch/tul technician, returned to jfk where we landed overweight under captain's emergency authority/authorized with a declared emergency. No problems.
