Narrative:
After departing lft on the highway departure, I started climbing prior to reaching the overpass. After reaching 2000 ft I was informed by lft ATC of an aircraft on the ara VOR approach who reported a near miss on me. I did not see the other aircraft at any time.

Title: NMAC BTWN A COMMUTER HELI AND AN ACFT MAKING AN INST APCH TO ANOTHER ARPT.
Narrative: AFTER DEPARTING LFT ON THE HWY DEP, I STARTED CLBING PRIOR TO REACHING THE OVERPASS. AFTER REACHING 2000 FT I WAS INFORMED BY LFT ATC OF AN ACFT ON THE ARA VOR APCH WHO RPTED A NEAR MISS ON ME. I DID NOT SEE THE OTHER ACFT AT ANY TIME.
