Narrative:

We were on 240 degree heading 10.8 mi at 2500 ft MSL from cps landing cps. ATC asked our airspeed (240 KTS). ATC advised us that we were below the class B and we slowed to 200 KTS quickly and were cleared for the visual runway 30L (no other aircraft was involved). At the time we thought we were not below the class B airspace.

Narrative: WE WERE ON 240 DEG HDG 10.8 MI AT 2500 FT MSL FROM CPS LNDG CPS. ATC ASKED OUR AIRSPD (240 KTS). ATC ADVISED US THAT WE WERE BELOW THE CLASS B AND WE SLOWED TO 200 KTS QUICKLY AND WERE CLRED FOR THE VISUAL RWY 30L (NO OTHER ACFT WAS INVOLVED). AT THE TIME WE THOUGHT WE WERE NOT BELOW THE CLASS B AIRSPACE.
