Narrative:

Outside sakki turning to a heading of 230 degrees to intercept localizer course of lda DME runway 26. Told to descend to 6000 ft by approach. In the turn, saw a dc-9 converging at about our altitude. Took evasive action by climbing to 7000 ft. The dc-9 turned left away from us. It appears other aircraft was being controled by another controller.
