Narrative:

Descending via bastn 3 arrival ATC may have requested we cross 'bumby' at 10000 ft, however, we believe we were told 'genbe' at 10000 ft. At about 13000 ft ATC asked us our descent rate (between 3000 to 3500 FPM) and due to this question we later double-checked the arrival and noted that 10000 ft is normally 'to be expected' at bumby intersection we should have been more alert to this 'expected' altitude and questioned ATC when we heard genbe as to avoid any possible confusion.
