Narrative:

Due to the ht of the tower I was unable to tell which runway planes were lined up for. With construction it's bad but it will be even worse when the parallel reopens. Callback conversation with reporter revealed the following information: reporter stated there are no extended runway ctrlines depicted on the dbrite radar. Analyst suggest this might help identify which runway aircraft are lined up on. Reporter said this would not help and the only solution was a new tower which was higher. Facility quality assurance specialist agreed with reporter. Facility manager stated a new higher tower would help but that was not in the mill. Analyst suggested an extended centerline on the video map from between the runways might help controller tell which runway the aircraft are lined up for.
