Narrative:

When first asked if we could accept the bay ILS runway 28 approach, the ATIS indicated WX slightly below ceiling 2100 ft minimums required per 11-4A. On questioning controller, she gave current WX which was above minimums. Approach went well, but workload was higher than normal simply because of the newness of the procedure and the emphasis on maintaining visual with other aircraft.

Title: APCH PROC EVALUATION.

Narrative: WHEN FIRST ASKED IF WE COULD ACCEPT THE BAY ILS RWY 28 APCH, THE ATIS INDICATED WX SLIGHTLY BELOW CEILING 2100 FT MINIMUMS REQUIRED PER 11-4A. ON QUESTIONING CTLR, SHE GAVE CURRENT WX WHICH WAS ABOVE MINIMUMS. APCH WENT WELL, BUT WORKLOAD WAS HIGHER THAN NORMAL SIMPLY BECAUSE OF THE NEWNESS OF THE PROC AND THE EMPHASIS ON MAINTAINING VISUAL WITH OTHER ACFT.
