Narrative:

XA06 upon arrival, aircraft temperature indicated 89 degrees F. XA15 on walk around, outside air temperature 77 degrees, dewpoint 75 degrees. Ground air-conditioning unit on left side of aircraft not hooked up. Normal operation, no ground personnel in sight. After walk around, I returned to gate counter in terminal and requested ground air-conditioning. First officer started APU for air- conditioning. I requested agent to enter flight deck just prior to departure to reference no ground air-conditioning. After she left flight deck, she proceeded to close up aircraft, removed short door ramp, but forward entry would not close. She adjusted jet bridge, aircraft was impacted. Crew alarming noise and aircraft shook. In few seconds, forward entry was closed and jet bridge run back. I requested jet bridge return and first officer and I inspected forward door. No damage found. Departure XB04.
