Narrative:

Unknowingly flew a traffic watch C-172 out of annual. Had expected owner/operator to keep plane current. I will, from now on, always check aircraft logbooks prior to flying any airplane. I have been told plane is currently in shop for it's annual inspection and I will check it's logbook prior to next flight.

Narrative: UNKNOWINGLY FLEW A TFC WATCH C-172 OUT OF ANNUAL. HAD EXPECTED OWNER/OPERATOR TO KEEP PLANE CURRENT. I WILL, FROM NOW ON, ALWAYS CHK ACFT LOGBOOKS PRIOR TO FLYING ANY AIRPLANE. I HAVE BEEN TOLD PLANE IS CURRENTLY IN SHOP FOR IT'S ANNUAL INSPECTION AND I WILL CHK IT'S LOGBOOK PRIOR TO NEXT FLT.
