Narrative:

On our after start and taxi checklist we did not see the aft cargo light on. As we turned onto the runway away from the sun we noticed the aft cargo light the same time the tower called saying it appears the aft cargo door is open. We never added power but taxied off the runway back to the ramp where the ground people checked and re-shut the door and we replaced a burned out light bulb. The door and light checked ok so we continued on to iah.
