Narrative:

Upon arriving to aircraft for departure, a flight attendant was sitting in cockpit jumpseat with ice pack on her head. She told me she had hit her head, while aircraft was being catered, on the galley door overhead. She complained of a headache and that she had hurt neck and it also was causing a problem for her. To me she looked as if she was very uncomfortable and somewhat lightheaded. A sod and med was notified as well as the paramedics. She said to me that she did not want to be taken off the trip, I told her that I did not want to take her to gua because of her condition. She was concerned that she would be looked down on by company. I assured her that a iod would not reflect on her and that she had nothing to be concerned about but her health. Also, in the interest of safety, I did not want her to continue on with us. A replacement was found and the flight left on time.
