Narrative:

Right engine had high egt during takeoff into caution range until power reduced for climb. All other instruments normal, no further high egt. Wrote up event for maintenance which discovered engine was burned up in the turbine section. I never saw egt above 630 degrees which is only caution or yellow range. Maintenance indicated I did something to cause engine being burned up. We followed all company procedures including write-up. I never felt aircraft was in danger.

Title: AN ACR FLC CONTINUED TKOF AFTER NOTING HIGH EGT. MAINT INSPECTION LATER FOUND THAT TURBINE SECTION OVERHEATED.

Narrative: R ENG HAD HIGH EGT DURING TKOF INTO CAUTION RANGE UNTIL PWR REDUCED FOR CLB. ALL OTHER INSTS NORMAL, NO FURTHER HIGH EGT. WROTE UP EVENT FOR MAINT WHICH DISCOVERED ENG WAS BURNED UP IN THE TURBINE SECTION. I NEVER SAW EGT ABOVE 630 DEGS WHICH IS ONLY CAUTION OR YELLOW RANGE.
