Narrative:

Aircraft was scheduled to depart ord to mci then continue on to den. Original paper work listed engine power management control inoperative. Did not notice any other significant deferral. The maintenance release document listed a pack as inoperative due to poor airflow but the pack operation was considered normal. We failed to notice the inoperative pack deferral which restr us to FL250. We climbed above FL250, reread logbook and became aware of the restr. Descent below FL250 was initiated. All pressurization and airconditioning system operated normally. No abnormal procedures necessary. No orange deferral sticker had been placed on the restr pack. Deferred items should be more easily identifiable and conspicuously placed on the maintenance release document.
