Narrative:

We were cleared direct pgy and told to expect vectors to localizer 27 san, being flown all night from hnl. During the descent, the captain called for the approach checklist. We were unable to complete the first 3 items on the checklist due to switch position being moved. I suggested holding the checklist until I could give the proper response. The captain got very upset and said he wanted the checklist now and that if he couldn't remember to position those 3 switches correctly, he didn't deserve to be in his present position. I had been trying to get along with the captain for 3 days on this trip and had to work very hard to get along with him on a 3-DAY trip the previous week. His response really upset me and I let myself be taken out of the loop. San approach then descended us to 2100 ft MSL, our position was on downwind at approximately 12 DME when we completed the descent. San approach then turned us to 360 degrees, then to 300 degrees and cleared us to maintain 2100 ft or above until on the localizer, cleared for the localizer 27 approach. We intercepted the localizer almost immediately and the captain immediately started a descent to our MDA of 660 ft even though we had a 2000 ft or above restr at reebo (6.4 DME). Instead of catching the fact that we had the reebo restr, I let the clearance (maintain 2100 ft or above until on the localizer) and the fact that the captain upset me, take me out of the loop. The tower called at about 7.5 DME with a 'low altitude alert, maintain present altitude' call.

Title: ACR LEFT ITS ALT ON A LOC APCH BEFORE THE STEP-DOWN POINT.

Narrative: WE WERE CLRED DIRECT PGY AND TOLD TO EXPECT VECTORS TO LOC 27 SAN, BEING FLOWN ALL NIGHT FROM HNL. DURING THE DSCNT, THE CAPT CALLED FOR THE APCH CHKLIST. WE WERE UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE FIRST 3 ITEMS ON THE CHKLIST DUE TO SWITCH POS BEING MOVED. I SUGGESTED HOLDING THE CHKLIST UNTIL I COULD GIVE THE PROPER RESPONSE. THE CAPT GOT VERY UPSET AND SAID HE WANTED THE CHKLIST NOW AND THAT IF HE COULDN'T REMEMBER TO POS THOSE 3 SWITCHES CORRECTLY, HE DIDN'T DESERVE TO BE IN HIS PRESENT POS. I HAD BEEN TRYING TO GET ALONG WITH THE CAPT FOR 3 DAYS ON THIS TRIP AND HAD TO WORK VERY HARD TO GET ALONG WITH HIM ON A 3-DAY TRIP THE PREVIOUS WK. HIS RESPONSE REALLY UPSET ME AND I LET MYSELF BE TAKEN OUT OF THE LOOP. SAN APCH THEN DSNDED US TO 2100 FT MSL, OUR POS WAS ON DOWNWIND AT APPROX 12 DME WHEN WE COMPLETED THE DSCNT. SAN APCH THEN TURNED US TO 360 DEGS, THEN TO 300 DEGS AND CLRED US TO MAINTAIN 2100 FT OR ABOVE UNTIL ON THE LOC, CLRED FOR THE LOC 27 APCH. WE INTERCEPTED THE LOC ALMOST IMMEDIATELY AND THE CAPT IMMEDIATELY STARTED A DSCNT TO OUR MDA OF 660 FT EVEN THOUGH WE HAD A 2000 FT OR ABOVE RESTR AT REEBO (6.4 DME). INSTEAD OF CATCHING THE FACT THAT WE HAD THE REEBO RESTR, I LET THE CLRNC (MAINTAIN 2100 FT OR ABOVE UNTIL ON THE LOC) AND THE FACT THAT THE CAPT UPSET ME, TAKE ME OUT OF THE LOOP. THE TWR CALLED AT ABOUT 7.5 DME WITH A 'LOW ALT ALERT, MAINTAIN PRESENT ALT' CALL.
