Narrative:

Air carrier X at 1000 ft AGL. On takeoff, in WX, we received a yellow TA on our TCASII just off of our wingtip showing a plus 100 ft. We turned right early to avoid him. We feel that if we hadn't turned there would have been a collision. In discussing this with departure control he said the aircraft was a king air and that he had been instructed to turn south after takeoff from runway 29L. We received no warning or advisory at any time from tower or departure until after the crisis had passed. We feel that this was an extremely close call of great danger and should be investigated immediately to prevent a repeat performance!
