Narrative:

I was distracted from checklist by another aircraft reporting to be on final, had trouble finding aircraft. Located aircraft at 7- 8 mi out. I had started gumps check, switched tanks and when upon seeing other aircraft so far out decided to hold checklist off. Was already as slow as I could go. Extended out, started base. Other aircraft slowed to a stop. Was deciding to go around when other aircraft continued on and cleared runway. I applied full flaps and slight slip and landed -- wheels up! Never stop your gumps check!
