Narrative:

Received aft smoke warning, advised flight attendant and completed checklist. Flight attendant reported no fire or smoke was visible. Requested priority approach and landing. ATC asked if we wanted emergency equipment standing by, we answered yes. After landing flight attendant rechked cargo compartment and still no evidence of smoke or fire was found in either the lav or cargo compartment. I checked the compartment and found no evidence either. After landing the warning went out, without any crew action. Supplemental information from acn 301654: I felt aft door of cargo compartment and felt nothing. I then opened the door, I could not smell or see smoke/fire. I proceeded to do the same with the aft lav door. Again no smoke or fire. After landing, we deplaned passenger as normal. Everyone was calm.
