Narrative:

An ia came and asked me to help his friend, who owns an airplane, to install an intercom. I told him how much it would cost and that I would have to work under the ia because a repairman (mine) is not good for this. I installed the system and billed the owner, who refused to pay. I don't know if his friend, the ia, ever signed off the installation in the aircraft logbook.

Title: MAINT PROC. THIS MECH INSTALLED A SYS IN AN ACFT SUPPOSEDLY UNDER THE GUIDANCE AND OVERSIGHT OF A QUALIFIED ACFT MECH INSPECTOR AND HE IS UNSURE IF THAT INDIVIDUAL EVER SIGNED THE WORK OFF IN THE LOGBOOK.

Narrative: AN IA CAME AND ASKED ME TO HELP HIS FRIEND, WHO OWNS AN AIRPLANE, TO INSTALL AN INTERCOM. I TOLD HIM HOW MUCH IT WOULD COST AND THAT I WOULD HAVE TO WORK UNDER THE IA BECAUSE A REPAIRMAN (MINE) IS NOT GOOD FOR THIS. I INSTALLED THE SYS AND BILLED THE OWNER, WHO REFUSED TO PAY.
