Narrative:

I departed runway 22 at aby without a takeoff clearance. My copilot had read back to the controller 'position and hold' and I believe that I wasn't paying attention. When rolling onto the runway, I applied power and departed. My copilot made me aware of the fact that we hadn't been cleared for takeoff at my rotation point. Why he didn't stop me beforehand I don't know. There was no incursion with any other traffic.

Title: UNAUTH TKOF.

Narrative: I DEPARTED RWY 22 AT ABY WITHOUT A TKOF CLRNC. MY COPLT HAD READ BACK TO THE CTLR 'POS AND HOLD' AND I BELIEVE THAT I WASN'T PAYING ATTN. WHEN ROLLING ONTO THE RWY, I APPLIED PWR AND DEPARTED. MY COPLT MADE ME AWARE OF THE FACT THAT WE HADN'T BEEN CLRED FOR TKOF AT MY ROTATION POINT. WHY HE DIDN'T STOP ME BEFOREHAND I DON'T KNOW. THERE WAS NO INCURSION WITH ANY OTHER TFC.
