Narrative:
While coordinating on the land line, air carrier X was given direct sax which put him in conflict with another aircraft Y direct HUD at 70. I noticed the conflict and advised radar controller to use vertical separation. Cause: controller judgement.

Title: ACR X DSCNT THROUGH OCCUPIED ALT HAD LTSS FROM ACFT Y. SYS ERROR.
Narrative: WHILE COORDINATING ON THE LAND LINE, ACR X WAS GIVEN DIRECT SAX WHICH PUT HIM IN CONFLICT WITH ANOTHER ACFT Y DIRECT HUD AT 70. I NOTICED THE CONFLICT AND ADVISED RADAR CTLR TO USE VERT SEPARATION. CAUSE: CTLR JUDGEMENT.
