Narrative:

We flew the NDB approach into flora in a metroliner. We flew overhead to look at the windsock and circled left. Due to WX, we had to fly a closer downwind leg than we wanted to and we overshot final. We then flew right traffic (perfectly legal) and landed normally. We learned from a man at the airport that someone had called the police department about our aircraft. Someone also called our company complaining about them sending an airplane that large in bad WX. I think people were upset because they aren't used to aircraft that large and noisy flying near their houses. The metroliner also flies a lot wider pattern than the cessnas that they are used to seeing.
