Narrative:

Ground interrupt. Aborted takeoff roll due to smoke and fumes in the cockpit. Flight attendant reported that there was smoke and fumes in the cabin and that there was a popping noise from the left engine when power was added for takeoff. No abnormal indications were noted at 1.4 EPR nor at the 80 KT check. Wind was 240/25g35 and we were departing from runway 27R.

Narrative: GND INTERRUPT. ABORTED TKOF ROLL DUE TO SMOKE AND FUMES IN THE COCKPIT. FLT ATTENDANT RPTED THAT THERE WAS SMOKE AND FUMES IN THE CABIN AND THAT THERE WAS A POPPING NOISE FROM THE L ENG WHEN PWR WAS ADDED FOR TKOF.
