Narrative:

Company ramp personnel overloaded cargo compartment by 8 bags. Structural limit is 1213 pounds. Average bag weight is 23.5 pounds = 51 bag limit. Balance limit for the flight with 26 passenger was 44 bags. Bag count given to the crew was 44 bags. 52 bags were unloaded at the destination. I don't believe the error was intentional. I believe it was a problem of miscounting bags.

Narrative: COMPANY RAMP PERSONNEL OVERLOADED CARGO COMPARTMENT BY 8 BAGS. STRUCTURAL LIMIT IS 1213 LBS. AVERAGE BAG WT IS 23.5 LBS = 51 BAG LIMIT. BALANCE LIMIT FOR THE FLT WITH 26 PAX WAS 44 BAGS. BAG COUNT GIVEN TO THE CREW WAS 44 BAGS. 52 BAGS WERE UNLOADED AT THE DEST. I DON'T BELIEVE THE ERROR WAS INTENTIONAL. I BELIEVE IT WAS A PROB OF MISCOUNTING BAGS.
