Narrative:

Passing through approximately 6000 ft on a vector for the visual approach to runway 13 at mdt, the crew heard a 'thump' which sounded like someone dropping a heavy object in the aisle. All instrument readings and flight control responses appeared normal. Since we were so close to final we continued with the visual approach and landed without incident. On a postflt inspection we found that the exterior pane on window 3C was cracked. Contract maintenance was called out for repair.
