Narrative:

We departed pbi for dfw with APU placarded inoperative. During cruise at FL350 on J86 after passing lev, the left generator began to rapidly cycle on and off. We observed the CSD outlet temperature in the yellow. I turned the generator off to stop the cycling and went to QRH. After QRH we called dispatch to discuss landing iah. Dispatch agreed. During divert the CSD oil pressure low light came on so we disconnected CSD per QRH. Normal landing iah.
