Narrative:

Door snubber inoperative, as per the write-up to replace the snubber on door il, I obtained a new snubber and proceeded by removing the old snubber and replaced it with a new one as I believe the previous snubber had been installed. Later I found out the snubber may have been installed incorrectly causing the hinge cover to be bent, causing a loud high pitch squeal in the forward cabin.

Title: DOOR SNUBBER INSTALLED IMPROPERLY.

Narrative: DOOR SNUBBER INOP, AS PER THE WRITE-UP TO REPLACE THE SNUBBER ON DOOR IL, I OBTAINED A NEW SNUBBER AND PROCEEDED BY REMOVING THE OLD SNUBBER AND REPLACED IT WITH A NEW ONE AS I BELIEVE THE PREVIOUS SNUBBER HAD BEEN INSTALLED. LATER I FOUND OUT THE SNUBBER MAY HAVE BEEN INSTALLED INCORRECTLY CAUSING THE HINGE COVER TO BE BENT, CAUSING A LOUD HIGH PITCH SQUEAL IN THE FORWARD CABIN.
