Narrative:
On takeoff with power set, approaching V1, struck 1 of a number of deer on the runway. Deer struck nose gear and then struck #1 propeller. Takeoff was aborted. Returned to gate without any further problems. There are 7 or 8 known deer on the airport. They have done several hundred thousand dollars in damage. Will someone be killed before they are eliminated.

Title: ACFT STRUCK DEER AND ABORTED TKOF.
Narrative: ON TKOF WITH PWR SET, APCHING V1, STRUCK 1 OF A NUMBER OF DEER ON THE RWY. DEER STRUCK NOSE GEAR AND THEN STRUCK #1 PROP. TKOF WAS ABORTED. RETURNED TO GATE WITHOUT ANY FURTHER PROBS. THERE ARE 7 OR 8 KNOWN DEER ON THE ARPT. THEY HAVE DONE SEVERAL HUNDRED THOUSAND DOLLARS IN DAMAGE. WILL SOMEONE BE KILLED BEFORE THEY ARE ELIMINATED.
