Narrative:

On a day VFR pleasure flight from ruq to 3n8, while landing on runway 20 at 3n8 another aircraft was taxiing on runway 02. The aircraft already on the runway was not seen by myself until I had just landed. After seeing the other aircraft I immediately took back off. The other aircraft went to one side of the runway and I went to the other. While entering the traffic pattern I monitored the CTAF and announced my intentions but heard no communication from the other aircraft. If the airplane on the ground had used runway 20 which was the favored runway for wind and announced his intentions on the CTAF this incident could have been prevented. Also, if I had observed the traffic on the ground I could have taken action sooner.
