Narrative:

During an annual inspection I found a missing exhaust pipe connector -- not in stock, I wrote a list of unairworthy items on the engine. Ie, missing exhaust connector. I also found an ELT battery 20 yrs out of date. I removed the ELT and logged same. The owner flew the aircraft to his home airport or at least he flew away. Note: the aircraft received an annual for the last 20 yrs.

Title: PLT OWNER OF AN SMA SEL OPERATED THE ACFT AFTER IT WAS FOUND TO HAVE SEVERAL UNAIRWORTHY DISCREPANCIES FOUND DURING AN ANNUAL INSPECTION.
