Narrative:

Air carrier X was en route atl-mmun. En route, over the gulf of mexico, just past the minow fix at FL310 we had just been handed off from ZMA 133.9 to meridan 125.2. Just before leaving ZMA, we requested and were approved deviation left (east) of course for WX. At the location specified above, TCASII issued an RA and commanded a 'dive, dive.' we looked outside and saw another aircraft approaching opposite direction, same altitude, closing rapidly. We turned immediately to the right, a moment later, the other aircraft did the same. We passed co-altitude, opposite direction, both in r-hand turns with about 2000 ft horizontal separation.
