Narrative:
While cleared for visual approach to runway 26R with parallel traffic on visual runway 26L in sight, a 3RD aircraft was cleared into runway 25 without advising our flight. The result was 3 aircraft side by side on parallel approachs to 3 minimum separated runways with TCASII RA's going off and initial response to the RA required until the 3RD aircraft was sighted. This is really pushing the intent of parallel approachs. A stagger on final for parallels is needed very badly.
Original NASA ASRS Text
Title: LACK OF TFC EXCHANGE FOR VISUAL SIDE-BY APCHS BTWN ACR X AND UNKNOWN Z RESULTING IN TCASII EVASIVE ACTION.
Narrative: WHILE CLRED FOR VISUAL APCH TO RWY 26R WITH PARALLEL TFC ON VISUAL RWY 26L IN SIGHT, A 3RD ACFT WAS CLRED INTO RWY 25 WITHOUT ADVISING OUR FLT. THE RESULT WAS 3 ACFT SIDE BY SIDE ON PARALLEL APCHS TO 3 MINIMUM SEPARATED RWYS WITH TCASII RA'S GOING OFF AND INITIAL RESPONSE TO THE RA REQUIRED UNTIL THE 3RD ACFT WAS SIGHTED. THIS IS REALLY PUSHING THE INTENT OF PARALLEL APCHS. A STAGGER ON FINAL FOR PARALLELS IS NEEDED VERY BADLY.
