Narrative:

The change to the MEL which authority/authorized thrust reverser inoperative operations into and out of sna should be looked at real close. I feel with the runway as short as it is reversers give us a lot more safety margin. Wet runway -- I don't want to think about it. Maybe a day to call in sick. I feel thrust reversers should be a company requirement on any short runway.
