Narrative:

We had an incomplete engine (PT6-41) shutdown and then a subsequent fire in the engine. The copilot was unable to bring the condition lever on the right engine to fuel cut-off. After some discussion I elected to close the fuel firewall shut-off valve. Some fuel leaked past the valve and caused an incomplete shutdown of that engine. Total damage to the engine was $1800. The ramp agents extinguished the fire with a dry chemical extinguisher. No one was injured or inconvenienced.
