Narrative:
Private float plane took off and climbed out without any communication on unicom frequency. I made all reports, but did not see him during descent and flight. I believe that the large round engine on dhc- 2 beaver restr seeing other aircraft. I was also watching for other reported traffic.

Title: NMAC BTWN 2 FLOAT PLANES NEAR A LAKE PORT. ONE WAS APCHING TO LAND AND THE OTHER DEPARTING.
Narrative: PVT FLOAT PLANE TOOK OFF AND CLBED OUT WITHOUT ANY COM ON UNICOM FREQ. I MADE ALL RPTS, BUT DID NOT SEE HIM DURING DSCNT AND FLT. I BELIEVE THAT THE LARGE ROUND ENG ON DHC- 2 BEAVER RESTR SEEING OTHER ACFT. I WAS ALSO WATCHING FOR OTHER RPTED TFC.
