Narrative:

For the last 18 months ZFW will not 'handoff' aircraft coming into the dfw class B airspace, even if you have had VFR flight following for the last 400 mi! They tell you to squawk 1200 and suggest you contact approach on such and such frequency. Why not 'handoff' incoming aircraft on VFR flight following? The aircraft is already 'in the system,' and much easier to identify to approach control.

Narrative: FOR THE LAST 18 MONTHS ZFW WILL NOT 'HDOF' ACFT COMING INTO THE DFW CLASS B AIRSPACE, EVEN IF YOU HAVE HAD VFR FLT FOLLOWING FOR THE LAST 400 MI! THEY TELL YOU TO SQUAWK 1200 AND SUGGEST YOU CONTACT APCH ON SUCH AND SUCH FREQ. WHY NOT 'HDOF' INCOMING ACFT ON VFR FLT FOLLOWING? THE ACFT IS ALREADY 'IN THE SYS,' AND MUCH EASIER TO IDENT TO APCH CTL.
