Narrative:

Descending through approximately 1000 ft in final approach, flight attendant rang cockpit twice. As a result of persistent 2ND ring, and since the first officer was flying the aircraft, I answered the flight attendant and was told, 'just wanted to let you know that there is a sick passenger in the aft lavatory who refuses to come out for landing.' I quickly told flight attendant to insure passenger remains in lavatory, and to talk to passenger through door and that we would be on the ground shortly. We did our best to make a smooth landing and rolled out slowly to end up the runway. Passenger later said they were fine. Note: I did not think 'going around' to be a sensible option due to the maneuver itself and not knowing how sick this person was!

Title: PAX IN LAVATORY DURING LNDG PROC ROLLOUT.

Narrative: DSNDING THROUGH APPROX 1000 FT IN FINAL APCH, FLT ATTENDANT RANG COCKPIT TWICE. I QUICKLY TOLD FLT ATTENDANT TO INSURE PAX REMAINS IN LAVATORY, AND TO TALK TO PAX THROUGH DOOR AND THAT WE WOULD BE ON THE GND SHORTLY. WE DID OUR BEST TO MAKE A SMOOTH LNDG AND ROLLED OUT SLOWLY TO END UP THE RWY. PAX LATER SAID THEY WERE FINE. NOTE: I DID NOT THINK 'GOING AROUND' TO BE A SENSIBLE OPTION DUE TO THE MANEUVER ITSELF AND NOT KNOWING HOW SICK THIS PERSON WAS!
