Narrative:

Front tire blew upon rollout after landing. Engine was shut down and aircraft towed to back ramp where tire was changed. Tire was worn down to cords. No conflicts, no real problems, just inconvenience. Cause of problem: the tire was covered by a cover which didn't show all of tire--only 1 inch was visible at bottom. It had just come out of annual 8 hours before and the uncovered main tires looked new. Front tire cover has been removed so that a proper preflight can be done.
