Narrative:

Departed gate with cargo door open -- ground personnel flagged us down, closed the door. All checks used were completed. Found the bulbs in light assembly burned out. The recall warning system would have caught the situation during the before takeoff checklist. A fluke situation perhaps pressing the recall button before taxiing out.

Title: ACFT TAXI AWAY FROM GATE WITH CARGO DOOR OPEN.

Narrative: DEPARTED GATE WITH CARGO DOOR OPEN -- GND PERSONNEL FLAGGED US DOWN, CLOSED THE DOOR. ALL CHKS USED WERE COMPLETED. FOUND THE BULBS IN LIGHT ASSEMBLY BURNED OUT. THE RECALL WARNING SYS WOULD HAVE CAUGHT THE SIT DURING THE BEFORE TKOF CHKLIST. A FLUKE SIT PERHAPS PRESSING THE RECALL BUTTON BEFORE TAXIING OUT.
